Insight Community

The Insight Speaker Series is part of a network of community organizations
that foster intellectual curiosity, critical thinking and positive solutions - many of whom are community sponsors or moderators for our events.  The following
companies and organizations are all worth getting to know!

The Tattered Cover Book Store is a locally owned community business
serving metro-Denver's readers for over 37 years. With three unique
locations, the stores are dedicated to bringing a diversity of books,
authors, and ideas to our community. Joyce Meskis, owner, will be introducing the evening with Isabel Allende.

One of the great perks of running the Insight Series is that I get to learn about great publications all the time.  Last week I discovered the Elephantjournal.com.  It's an intelligent, enjoyable website that covers progressive issues without devolving into new age-y shallowness.  It is extrememly well written and informative.  Check it out!

Elephantjournal.com is your guide to what we like to call ‘the
mindful life’: yoga, organics, sustainability, genuine spirituality,
conscious consumerism, fair fashion, the contemplative arts…anything
that helps us to live a good life that also happens to be good for
others, and our planet.

The Abraham Path Initiative

“The aim of the Abraham Path Initiative is to create a safe, beautiful, and inspiring route of walking and cultural tourism which follows the journey made by Abraham (Ibrahim) through the Middle East some 4000 years ago – a path which will act as a catalyst for sustainable tourism and economic development, as a platform for cross cultural exchange and mutual understanding, and as a focus for positive media coverage that highlights the rich heritage and hospitable people of the region.”
